Planning Commission to Review Subdivision Plats, Likely Cedar Ridge on the Table

The Pocomoke City Planning and Zoning Commission will meet Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 101 Clarke Avenue. The agenda includes approval of minutes from March 19, April 16, May 29, and June 12. Commissioners will then review two subdivision plats.

The first, for the lands of Craig Collins, concerns the Oxford Court Subdivision – an ongoing proposal for new homes on 6th Street near the car wash.

The second plat, submitted by Visions International MD LLC, is not fully detailed in the agenda. It is likely related to the Cedar Ridge subdivision, which is being developed by Visions International MD LLC. That project is expected to be located between the White Oaks subdivision and Cedar Street, directly across from 11th Street and the Newtown Apartments.

Also on the agenda are informational items regarding the Drawbridge Villas project and discussion of a work session for ongoing review of the city’s Comprehensive Plan.

The meeting will be open to the public at City Hall, with possible additional access via social media. For details, contact the City Clerk at 410-957-1333.
