Pocomoke’s favorite summer tradition is back and bigger than ever with a full week of action, excitement, and community spirit!
The Great Pocomoke Fair began in 1901 at Second and Broad Street, showcasing local harvests, livestock, and crafts. Its biggest draw was harness racing, attracting horses from across the region. The original fair paused during the Great Depression, with its final run in 1930, until it’s revival in 1991. Today’s fair carries on the tradition, celebrating over a century of Pocomoke pride.
From Saturday, August 2 through Saturday, August 9, the fairgrounds will be packed with carnival rides (open nightly from 5 – 10:30PM), motorsports, livestock shows, live entertainment, contests, food, and more.
