The Pocomoke City Arrowhead is a grassroots community news blog dedicated to keeping residents informed about local government, events, and stories that matter most to our town. Founded on the belief that informed citizens build stronger communities, The Arrowhead provides clear, accessible updates on city council meetings, public projects, and neighborhood developments—alongside occasional deep dives, interviews, and features. We’re independent, locally focused, and committed to shining a light on Pocomoke with integrity and heart.
We began writing in 2023 after hearing the same question again and again from neighbors and friends: “What’s going on in Pocomoke?” At the time, there was no reliable or consistent source for local news, especially about city government. So we decided to fill the gap ourselves—reporting what we could, attending meetings, and sharing updates to help everyone stay in the loop. What started as a small effort quickly grew into a trusted community resource.
