
Pocomoke City Mayor & Council to Hold Work Session and Meeting November 3
The Pocomoke City Mayor and Council will hold a combined work session and regular meeting on Monday, November 3, 2025, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 101 Clarke Avenue.
The work session will include presentations and discussions on:
- A presentation from American Water
- Ongoing plans for a community center
- Review of Ordinance 2026-O-3, which would eliminate the keeping of lodgers, roomers, or boarders by a resident family in residential zoning districts
- Resolution 2026-R-02, proposing a temporary moratorium on certain matters before the Planning and Zoning Commission
- Consideration of a new special event permit and use fee ordinance
The regular meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include:
- Approval of minutes from September 15 (closed), September 19 (closed), and October 20 (open) meetings
- Approval of the bill list
- Second reading and public hearing of Resolution 2026-R-07, supporting the city’s participation in the Sustainable Maryland Certified Municipal Certification Program
- Comments from the Council, Mayor, City Manager, and audience
